Eastview Families: Please mark your calendars for the PTO Eastview Fall Carnival! Friday, October 7th, from 6pm - 8pm!
Eastview Families: Reminder that PTO Meets at 4:30 today (8/18) in the library and then doors open for Meet the Team Night at 4:55. Parents go to their child's homeroom. As a reminder, Meet the Team Night is different than an Open House. Teachers are giving presentations. It's better to keep kids at home if possible! But, if you have to bring your kids in order to attend, please do! Eastview students will be supervised in the library so that parents can be with teachers. If you need to bring your baby or toddler into the classroom with you, it's fine! Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
PTO meets tomorrow at 4:30 in library, right before "Meet the Team" night! Everyone is welcome!
Eastview Families: Reminder that tomorrow night, Thursday 8.18.22, is "Meet the Team" night. Doors open 4:55, parents should go to classrooms, presentations start at 5:10 & go to 5:30. A second round of presentations starts at 5:40. We're all done by 6:00!
Eastview Families - a reminder about the upcoming CHS Football Game:
Elementary students will not be allowed to enter the game without an adult present and should be supervised by the adult that brought them to the game. In addition, please students are NOT to bring any type of ball including footballs to the game.
Eastview Families: We will hold a PTO Meeting in the library on Thursday at 4:30, just prior to Meet the Team Night which starts at 5:00 p.m. Whether you're new to Eastview or have been in the Eastview family for years, this is a great chance to learn more about how PTO supports our school. You don't have to be a "member" of PTO to come to a meeting!
Eastview Families: Meet the Team Night is Thursday, August 18th, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Meet the Team Night is different than an Open - House!
Please expect teachers to be giving presentations about their grade-levels and classrooms. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. Parents should report to their child's classroom. At 5:10, teachers will start presenting.
The first round of presentations will end at 5:30 p.m. If you only have one child at Eastview, you'll be all set and can head home! If you need to hear a second presentation, we've got that covered - parents will be given a few minutes to head to the second classroom and the second round of presentations will start at 5:35.
Please expect to hear information about a range of topics such as Daily Schedule, Communication, Grading, Behavior Expectations, Special Projects, and more!
This is an important opportunity for families and the school to get on the same page early in the year!
Working together for student success!
*If you can, leave students at home for Meet the Team Night! However, we know child-care can be a challenge. Bring kids along if you must! I'll be in the library during the presentations and can watch your school-aged kids so that you can focus on the presentation (sorry, I can't be responsible for watching those babies!).
